ATLAS gallery

London, UK

Founded in 1994, Atlas is one of the foremost galleries in London dealing exclusively in fine art photography. Based in the heart of Marylebone in Central London the gallery hosts approximately six exhibitions a year and has a presence at major international art fairs.

The gallery specialises in classic and modern 20th Century vintage photography, photojournalism and fashion photography. Atlas represents major contemporary practitioners such as Nick Brandt, Niko Luoma and Jimmy Nelson, and our holdings include of work by diverse masters of photography such as Bill Brandt, Rene Burri, William Klein and Irving Penn. The gallery also works directly with a number of artists’ estates, including Lewis Morley and Ernst Haas. In 2012 we launched ATLAS Contemporary, creating a platform to introduce an exclusive group of extraordinary young to mid-career contemporary artists – Richard Caldicott, John Messinger, Andreas Gefeller and Kacper Kowalski to name a few.
