ROTTERDAM TALENT FOCUS
Each year, under our curatorship, Haute Photographie presents a selection of emerging Rotterdam-based talents. This year, five talents are highlighted, selected through visits to graduation shows and, increasingly, through discoveries made via social media channels.
Many of these artists operate under the radar, rarely receiving the platform they deserve. What unites them is a distinctive visual language shaped by personal experience, intuition, and strong authorship. Authenticity and consistency remain central to our selection, as we believe it is essential to recognise, nurture, and give space to the talent that surrounds us.
INDEPENDENT PHOTOGRAPHERS
Powered by the Hungry Eye Group, Haute Photographie is committed to supporting promising and talented artists, with a strong focus on independent photographers following successful editions in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. In this edition, more than 40 independent artists are presented, within a total of 60 exhibiting artists. As a result, the ‘future’ aspect of our motto; past, present, future is more visible than ever.
At Haute, we recognise the many artists striving to break through in the art market. By offering them a platform to present their work, we aim to actively contribute to the development and advancement of their careers.
FOCUS 2026: WILD&EARTH
This year, Haute Photographie places nature at its heart with the special focus ‘Wild & Earth,’ exploring the intricate relationship between animals and their habitats. Seven leading photographers invite the visitor into a world where the raw power and fragile beauty of nature collide.
From majestic wildlife and breathtaking landscapes to striking natural phenomena, the photography on display does more than just capture our surroundings, it highlights the delicate balance of our planet and what is at stake. Through these evocative works, ‘Wild & Earth’ serves as both a celebration of the natural world and a poignant reflection on its conservation.
Haute Photographie is proud to announce its collaboration with IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare), the official partner supporting our 2026 focus, ‘Wild & Earth.’

THE PRINTED VISION
CELEBRATING PRINT
Our selection of outstanding magazines.
Great photography in Fashion, Art and Design.
At Haute Photographie Rotterdam 2026, Roy Kahmann and his team turn the spotlight toward the quiet yet radical powe of print. In a time when images endlessly scroll mast our eves. these magazines ask us to pause. They are publications guided by an exceptional eye and an uncompromising devotion to photography, crafted with intention, shaped by passion, and brought to life through paper, ink, and design.
The Printed Vision is a curated exhibition and platform dedicated to 15 outstanding international print magazines that stand at the forefront of Art, Design, and Fashion photography. Each selected title treats the magazine not as a disposable medium, but as a lasting object. One that preserves photographic narratives with depth, care, and authorship. These magazines form a sanctuary for photography, where editorial vision and artistic practice converge.
While Haute Photographie traditionally celebrates the individual artist. The Printed Vision shifts attention to the makers behind the page: the editors, designers, and publishers who compose, curate, and champion photography in its most tactile and enduring form. Together, they remind us that print is not a relic of the past, but a living space for contemporary photographic culture.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the enduring power of print-explore our favourite magazines, engage with voices from the magazine industry, and connect with fellow creatives who continue to shape contemporary photographic culture.
Saturday, 28 March, 16:00–17:00

COVER ARTIST - HAUTE PHOTOGRAPHIE 2026 - ICONS AND INTIMACY

MICHEL HADDI
Michel Haddi has spent decades capturing cultural legends - Tupac Shakur, David Bowie, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Angelina Jolie - through a lens that sees beyond glamour. His portraits reveal a deeper fascination with identity, beauty, and the passage of time.
Raised between Paris and London with Algerian roots, Haddi’s life story is inseparable from his artistic vision. His work moves fluidly between fashion, portraiture, and cinematic narrative, always infused with raw emotion and elegant control. He captures fleeting vulnerability within performance, offering images that linger.
Now based between London and Los Angeles, Haddi continues to create, publish, and revisit his expansive archive.
A curated selection of his iconic work will be on view at Haute-Photographie, alongside a rare opportunity to meet Michel Haddi in person. Don’t miss the chance to engage with one of photography’s most enduring voices.
